We are a community of 22-32 year old young adults seeking to empower and encourage each other to grow in our shared Catholic faith through intentional community, peer lead faith formation, and casual fellowship.
We meet every other Wednesday evening at 7:15pm in the social hall (door 7 from the parking lot) and also host monthly men's and women's nights. We provide opportunities for young adult Catholics to gather in person following social distancing and Covid-19 safety procedures.
We coordinate an annual retreat focused on different themes and organize group adoration nights at St. Lawrence. In the past, our retreats have covered developing a deeper prayer life, testimonies, and doing a Lord's Day celebration.
We provide opportunities to serve St. Lawrence and local community organizations across the metro. At St. Lawrence, we help with weeding, leaf raking, decorating the church, connecting with older parishioners, and more. In the community, we have helped at Loaves and Fishes, Feed my Starving Children, and other places. We are always open to new ideas on more ways to serve!
We host group social events regularly, with no set schedule. We enjoy group hikes, brunches, game nights, and BBQs. Although COVID has put restrictions on our social events, we seek to gather safely as we're able to.
We gather every other Wednesday evening from 7:15 - 8:45pm as a large group to dive into discussions about the Catholic faith. During this time, we present a topic to the whole group before breaking off into small groups to build relationships and discuss our own experiences.
Some examples of past sessions include a series on the Saints, walking through the Sacraments, digging into scripture, and sharing ways we can live out our faith in the secular world.
This fall, we will spend time discussing how we can be fully alive in the glory of God by living out our Catholic faith as graduate students and young adults.
We host monthly men's and women's nights to dive deeper into topics that specifically pertain to Catholic men and women.
The women have discussed relationships, lead craft nights, given personal testimonies, hosted NFP guest speakers, held bible studies...and much more.
The men have gone ax throwing, hosted dinners, discussed masculinity and fatherhood, talked about issues in today's culture, held outdoor sports nights, and more.
Interested graduate students and young professionals, please sign up on the interest form so we can reach out and meet you.
